The Pathway Opportunity Project is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to our motto: "Building Skills. Building Futures.".

Our Mission is to empower underserved individuals with hands-on trade training that leads to sustainable careers. We provide the education, skills, and connections needed to secure meaningful employment in the trades, which helps our participants build sustainable careers, strengthen their communities, and break generational cycles of poverty. Our core purpose is Creating Pathways to Prosperity Through Vocational Training.

Our Vision is to see a North Carolina where every person, regardless of background, has access to pathways that lead to stability, prosperity, and pride in their work.

How We Build the Bridge:

• Accessible Training: We offer affordable trade training programs in high-demand fields like Plumbing & Pipefitting, Electrical, and HVAC.

• Job Placement: We partner with local employers, unions, and city programs—including the City of Charlotte, NC Works, Lowe's, and Duke Energy—to ensure our training directly leads to jobs.

• Wraparound Support: We offer essential wraparound services, such as mentorship, life skills coaching, and career guidance, to remove barriers to success
